Whether you are privately funded or receive funding from the NHS or local authority, you can benefit from our fully personalised services.
At Sarah’s Home Care we sensitively consider and show an interest in all aspects of your lives. This includes culture, religious beliefs, social history, working life, hobbies and family and friends.
By keeping our business small, we are able to provide you with reliable and punctual care when you need it. Our care workers quickly come to learn your habits and routines as well as your likes and dislikes. At Sarah’s Home Care we recognise each service user as an individual and emphasise building relationships of trust and mutual respect. We always promote a “can do” attitude as we want you, our valued service users, to live as independently as possible with consistent care.
“As the manager of Sarah’s Home Care, I was inspired to start up my own agency after having worked for several large care agencies and charities as a second job. I initially took on this role to support and provide respite for families with children with severe learning and physical difficulties. One weekend I was asked to cover a home care morning shift and, 8 years on, continued to devote my weekend early mornings to home care.
My background is in children’s services and safeguarding of vulnerable families. However after much encouragement, support and commitment from colleagues, I took the step of setting up Sarah’s Home Care. I wanted to make a real difference in the lives of families like yours. I like to personally visit each of my services users on a regular basis. This is to ensure consistent, high quality care is being received and all your needs are being met.”
